3.2. We do not use your personal data for direct marketing purposes.

4.1. We process your personal data for no longer than is necessary for the purposes set forth herein or for as long as is required by applicable laws. If you terminate your account or delete data from your account, we will retain your personal data concerned for 5 (five) years of such termination or deletion in order for us to be able to rely on these data in a potential civil law dispute within the statutory limitation period unless you expressly notify us of the withdrawal of your consent to such processing of your data.

4.2. If you change your email preferences and unsubscribe from our mailings, we will stop sending our newsletters to you and discontinue using your personal data concerned for this purpose.

4.3. Please note that we will delete your data after 5 (five) years of the termination of your account unless you specifically instruct us otherwise or unless it is required by applicable laws otherwise. The Data Controller may be subject to certain data retention obligations prescribed by applicable laws.

  1. Your Rights and Available Legal Remedies

5.1. You have the right to request information from the Data Controller about our processing of your personal data. You may send such request by sending email to info@freedees.com. Upon your request, we provide you with information about your personal data we process, the source of such data, as well as the purpose, legal basis and term of data processing, and the name, the address and the related activities of our hosting service provider. We will supply such information, in writing when so requested, to you as soon as possible and in any case within 30 (thirty) days of receipt of your request. You may obtain such information free of charge provided that you have not yet requested information about the same data in the current year; otherwise we may charge you the costs we incurred in complying with your request.

5.2. You may ask us to correct your personal data at any time. If any personal data does not correspond to the facts and the appropriate data are available to us, we will then correct such personal data. You may as well request deletion or blocking of your personal data. If you ask us to delete your personal data, we make such data unrecognizable so restoration will not be possible any more. If you ask us to block your personal data, we attach an identification mark to such data in order to restrict permanently or for a definite time period any further processing thereof. You may send us your request for correction, deletion or blocking of your personal data by email to info@freedees.com, and we will comply with such request within 5 (five) business days following receipt.

5.3. You may withdraw your consent to the processing of any of your personal data at any time without any explanation or limitation and free of charge. You may send us your declaration of withdrawal by email to info@freedees.com. Please note that upon your declaration of withdrawal concerning your username or email address we will be compelled to terminate your account. You may also limit your withdrawal to our use of your personal data for the purpose of sending newsletters to you. Upon receipt of your withdrawal we will stop processing and delete your personal data concerned. You can also simply terminate your account or delete only certain personal data therefrom, which will be construed without any further action as if you withdrew your consent to the processing of the data concerned without prejudice to the provisions of Section 4.1. and 4.3. above.

5.4. You may also object to the processing of your personal data and request that we terminate data processing and delete your personal data if you find that your data are processed for the sole purpose of fulfilling the Data Controller’s legal obligations or enforcing the Data Controller’s or third person’s interests, or for direct marketing, polling, or scientific research purposes, as well as in all other cases prescribed by law. You may send us such objection by email to info@freedees.com. Within 15 (fifteen) days following receipt, we will investigate your objection, make a decision on the merits and notify you in writing of our decision. Our affirmative decision means that we will terminate data processing and block your personal data. If you disagree with our decision or we have failed to provide you with a decision in time, you may seek court action within 30 (thirty) days following receipt of our decision or following expiry of the applicable time limit.

5.5. In case of any violation of your rights by the Data Controller, you may seek court action, and you may as well initiate investigation by the Data Protection Authority claiming violation, or the imminent threat thereof, in relation to the processing of your personal data. Please contact us whenever you believe that your rights have been violated and we will use our best efforts to remedy the issue.
